Philadelphia Theatre Company (PTC) is a leading regional theatre company that produces, develops, and presents entertaining and imaginative contemporary theatre focused on the American experience. PTC balances its Philadelphia roots with a national point of view that combines a taste for adventure with a dedication to new American plays and musicals.

Philadelphia Theatre Company is dedicated to presenting the Philadelphia and world premieres of works by contemporary playwrights with an emphasis on American drama. We seek to develop an audience of open-minded theatregoers across cultural, ethnic, and social lines by producing drama that is at once challenging, entertaining and imaginatively staged.

Founded in 1974, Philadelphia Theatre Company has presented 201 world and Philadelphia premieres. More than 50 percent of PTC’s world premieres have moved on to New York and other major cities, helping to earn Philadelphia a national reputation as a hub for new play development. In 2007, PTC was instrumental in expanding Philadelphia’s thriving cultural corridor by opening the Suzanne Roberts Theatre on the Avenue of the Arts.

Bennington Performing Arts Center—The Home of Oldcastle Theatre Company (BPAC) is a small stage with a big commitment to educating, entertaining, enriching, and engaging the community through live performance. Our organization continues its strong commitment to a vibrant professional theater company with resident troupe Oldcastle Theatre Company. Along with professional theatre we are expanding our activities into community theatre, education in the performing arts, as well as exciting community-oriented events, rentals, co-productions, and online programming.

The Weathervane Theatre sits proudly on Route 3 (Lancaster Road) a few miles north of the quaint village.  A 250-seat capacity auditorium has no obstructed views and is arranged in tiered seating with no seat further than 40 feet from the stage.  Center and side aisles make access easy from three entryways.  The Box Office operates daily during the season.

The performance signature of the Weathervane is the practice of performing seven Mainstage productions in 8 weeks, scheduled in alternating repertory with a core Company of resident professional actors.  Lively musicals, droll comedies and moving dramas alternate Monday through Saturday in July and August.  Since 1966 the theatre has produced a wide variety of titles as listed here: 52 Seasons of Shows.

Out of the Box Theatrics is an Off-Broadway theatre company that presents new and classic works immersively in site-specific locations. We strive to diversify the American stage and provide an inclusive and accessible platform for patrons and artists.
