Ricky Romano (Musical Supervisor and Composer) is an active Music Director, Composer, and Pianist in the New York Metropolitan Area. He recently was the Music Director and Conductor for an exciting new production of AIDA starring American Idol and Broadway’s Ace Young, which he was praised by director, Luis Salgado, as “hands down one of the best music directors I've ever worked with.” He was also the Music Director of the highly anticipated cast recording of the Off-Broadway Revival, Ruthless! The Musical, which was recorded at the world famous Carriage House Studios. Ricky was also the Associate Music Producer of several theatrical cast albums, including Off-Broadway’s Fiddler on the Roof (A Fidler Afn Dakh), which reached the 5th position in the Top 10 Billboard Cast Album and World Music charts, and Courtney Love’s Kansas City Choir Boy [post production]. Throughout his career, Ricky has played at several notable venues in the Tri-State Area, including The Chance Theatre, The Bitter End, Jones Beach Theatre, and The Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square.
